Remedial Massage - 30min £35 / 60min £55

This is manipulation of the soft tissues and is very beneficial on a therapeutic level.

It can be relaxing but stimulating at the same time. It has many properties because of the way it works the muscles and helps to re-align them. Massage especially benefits the body when it is recovering from old injuries, which give off referred pain. The main benefits of remedial massage are increased circulation, improvement of scar tissue and reduced muscle tension.

Nutrition - 60min £55

Nutrition is vital for good health and wellbeing. The food we eat can determine so much in our lives. I can help you get into eating healthily and wisely for weight loss, for general good healthy eating, recipes and good nutritional advice. Food can be a minefield for some people and so getting to grips with a good basis of nutrition is key.

The more different and varied foods we eat and try the better we feel. Confidence and knowledge are needed for good food and nothing else. If you need help with recipes or knowing how to create wonderful new dishes then I can I am there.

Sugar is such a big thing in the world now and there are so many ways to use alternatives so that we don’t pile on the pounds and raise our insulin levels.

I was involved in a project that involved me creating dishes that used little sugar or good alternatives. I have worked in communities with surplus food and creating delicious meals with groups that face vulnerability and hardship.

Pregnancy Massage - 60min £55 / 90min £75

Massage for pregnancy is beneficial because of the major changes a woman encounters when going through her pregnancy. The baby grows and grows to make the body weaken in certain areas such as the spine and pelvis. The back can suffer tremendously and so massage is a wonderful way to relax, enabling it to get into a comfortable zone.

A woman can experience pure equilibrium when she is being massaged during pregnancy and therefore, she can make the most of such a treatment because doing normal things like sleeping and moving requires a lot of effort on a daily basis.

Massage can alleviate some of the pains by grounding and relaxing, so it is ideal for some women to have the occasional treatment and so that her body isn’t struggling with the pregnancy and the extra weight and changes.

Indian Head Massage - 30min £30

Indian head massage is a very special therapy that originated from India to help women take care of their hair. It was passed down to generations and taught by grandmothers and mothers in all regions of India. It was brought over to the UK by Narendra Mehta in the eighties, and many colleges and schools taught it because it is so beneficial as a therapy and worked on the head which treatments at the time did not use.

It works by the client sitting on a normal chair, and the head, face, shoulders, arms and upper back are worked on.

What makes Indian head massage so wonderful is that it works on many pressure points enabling extreme relaxation to take place. The balance is created by working gently and subtly but in all, this is a most powerful treatment and you may feel completely taken away from your present space.

On-site Massage (Corporate only) - 60 min £55 (minimum booking 3hrs)

Massage for a balanced working life

During my career, I have focused my energy for on-site massage and worked closely with various companies to provide massage therapies to their employees in the workplace.

Corporate Massage (On-site massage) is specifically tailored to provide the benefits of relaxation in the office. In today’s fast and busy workplace, individuals are finding less time to take the necessary breaks that the body needs. This creates an increase in stress and tension in the body, which can lead to repetitive strain injuries (e.g. tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome), tension headaches, tight shoulders, back pain through bad posture and many other conditions, that are part of everyday working life.

What Corporate Massage can do for your company:

  • Reduce the time that is taken off by employees by offering treatments that reduce physical stress and tension that can lead to injuries and illness, long-term back problems.

  • Create a happier work environment, which can increase staff morale and work performance, resulting in an increase in productivity.

  • Provide your staff with preventative maintenance and the information needed to maintain an optimum level of health and mental clarity.

  • Show your employees that you care about them.

Onsite massage – Home only - 60 min £50 (minimum booking 2hrs)

On-site or chair massage is a great way of treating people at work, within the office and corporate environments. Massages are done on an ergonomic massage chair and is so comfortable. Like Indian Head Massage, it works from the head down to the gluteus maximus, arms and hands.

It is invigorating as well as energising and will leave you feeling relaxed. I work on the client’s shoulders and neck predominantly, helping the person to regain posture and to sit in a correct way, enabling them to get on with their work whilst relieving tension. I couple the treatment with continuous advice and stretches so that the client can make the most of this time at work.

Massage in busy office environments is necessary because spending so much time at a desk is stressful and the body needs that change so that the muscles don’t get used to being in the same position.

Facial Reflexology - 60min £55

Facial reflexology is ideal to rebalance and boost your immune system and can work with foot reflexology or as a stand alone therapy to help with ailments. Please ask for details.

Reflexology - 60min £55

This is a treatment that started thousands of years ago in Ancient China. It works similarly to Acupuncture and Shiatsu linking meridians, organs and zones. If a problem or ailment arises then it will show up in the foot and can be worked so that the body can help to heal this ailment naturally. If the area is tender then it generally means there is a problem and so working this area throughout the treatment enables healing to take place. It is important to remember that all areas of the feet need to be treated.

I spent some time volunteering for the cancer centre at Royal Berkshire Hospital for a cancer charity offering reflexology. The charity is called My Cancer My Choice and is based at Bracknell Healthspace too. Registered charity number; 1162165.

Auricular Acupuncture (Smoking Cessation) - 60min £50 (£35 pp in a group of three or more)

Auricular acupuncture (of the ear) is a treatment that has been derived from Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. Using the NADA five-point protocol, it can be used for stress, depression, anxiety and recovery. As well as smoking cessation. These five points can be used all together or several at a time, to help alleviate all the ailments mentioned. A series of treatments are recommended but this can also be used in group sessions to promote wellbeing, help with smoking cessation and reduce anxiety.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - 60min £55

CBT focuses by enabling people to change their current attitudes, beliefs and their behaviour which can distort current lifestyles and emotions. By adapting to new thoughts and patterns of behaviour with the help of this therapy a new way of thinking and behaviour can pave the way and enable the person to be free of such negative focus.
The distortions that one can have really has the ability to hold one back and not be able to move forward in life, relationships and other matters.
CBT can work in short blocks and this way it is manageable for the individual to work through heavy or not such full on emotions.

Home Visits – £60

I have always worked on the basis that it is ideal for the client to have a treatment at home because you can relax after your treatment and not have to travel anywhere.

I can bring my massage couch and set up in a suitable room in your house. Your treatment will be tailored to your specific needs, whether it is a remedial or sports massage, a relaxing, nourishing massage, a reflexology session or a combination of any of those. For a seated massage (on-site massage) I bring a special chair or you can simply have an Indian Head Massage.

My therapeutic treatments are also an ideal gift for friends or family. You can arrange this with me and I will visit then visit the person you have bought this for.
